We are looking for a Senior HSSEQ Advisor, based in Aberdeenshire to strengthen our team. Join us in our quest to solve tomorrow's challenges and innovate our future

What will you be doing in this role?

As a vital part of our team you will:

  • Support HMH line management in practical HSSE and legislative matters like safety inspections, risk analysis, safe job analysis, travel security, emergency planning, risk assessments and incident follow-up
  • Plan, conduct and coordinate internal audits, investigations and inspections
  • Anchor global initiatives locally
  • Prepare and maintain local emergency response plans
  • Support PUWER and COSHH assessments
  • Provide HSSE support to a busy workshop (mechanical, fabrication and CNC Machining)
  • SEPA discharge consents
  • Extraction systems condition assessment
  • Noise level assessments
  • ESG reporting
  • Observation card monitoring and follow ups
Who are we looking for?

You will be motivated by building strong relationships to ensure compliance with a variety of regulatory and internal procedures. You will be capable of working autonomously day to day but be an active contributor within a global team.

We also think it is important that you hold the following qualifications:

  • NEBOSH qualified
  • Recognised Quality certification to ISO standards
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in a similar role, ideally within a workshop environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
