You are someone who is as comfortable interacting with a range of different people at different levels as you are in providing detailed reports and businesses case whilst ensuring financial controls are adhered to.


What you'll be doing:


As an Interim Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner you will be leading a team of business partners who are representing, guiding and challenging the wider finance team and senior level stakeholders.

You'll be leading on the production of consolidated monthly management accounts as well as leading and planning for annual budget setting.

You will contribute to a positive working environment for your team, with a solid ethic of working towards achievement of the vision of the organisation.


What you'll need to offer:


As an experienced finance professional you'll have honed your experience across a range of accounting areas and ideally will have successfully lead, managed and developed a team of finance business partners or management accounts focussed professionals.

You will be a fully qualified accountant with any of the following qualifications or equivalent - CIMA, CIPFA, ACCA or ACA (ICAEW, ICAS, ICAI)
You'll have a track record of managing tasks across a complex organisation and ideally within the wider public sector (central government, NHS, Local government or similar)

You'll have a track record of success in communicating financial plans to a wide range of stakeholders and be passionate about the process of building and presenting business cases and reports.
