About the Role
As the Head of Philanthropy, your responsibilities include devising and executing strategies to achieve targets, fostering donor relationships, and attracting new supporters. You will have the chance to nurture, request, and care for your own potential donor portfolio to secure funding for the charity's strategic endeavors.
Major duties consist of providing guidance to shape the strategic objectives of a multi-year fundraising initiative, creating and implementing the major donor engagement plan, collaborating with key stakeholders to expand and supervise your major donor prospect list. Moreover, you will drive the expansion of major donor gatherings and involvement activities, conduct thorough research on potential major donors, and contribute to organization-wide planning.
About You
For success in this role, you must possess a proven track record of meeting revenue targets in fundraising or a similar outcome-driven environment. Additionally, you should demonstrate an innovative mindset, exceptional interpersonal skills, adept budget and event management abilities.
Your achievements will be gauged by the development and execution of the major donor engagement strategy and the level of interaction with your donor portfolio. You will also play a vital role in fortifying relationships with major donors through in-person meetings.
