About the role:


We are looking for an experienced consultant, with a demonstrable success record in the Cyber Security and Information Security (InfoSec) space.


You will be responsible for delivering a range of projects for customers across Kerv Consult using your experience in Cyber Security.

We have built a strong team of Cyber professionals and you will be expected to continue the high standards set by them.


You will work as part of respected team of Cyber Security experts who already deliver these services to a high standard and you will be expected to do the same.

The role offers great autonomy and diversity of opportunity within the Cyber Security space.


Your part to play:


You will be responsible for delivery of Cyber projects into customers across Kerv Consult, specifically being accountable for completion of activities assigned to you within the scope of the projects.

You will contribute to a high-performing Cyber team, supported by your peers and the wider Kerv Consult resource pool.

You will be required to have:

  • A strong background in Information Security (InfoSec) with a broad knowledge of Cyber Security and its implementation within organisations
  • Strong experience in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), adhering to legal, regulatory and contractual requirements
  • An excellent understanding of Threats, Risk, Controls and how they relate to each other
  • Experience of developing and interpreting IT security and compliance standards and policies
  • Experience in ensuring that IT systems and processes are secure by design

About you:


Proven experience of:

  • The ability to assess an organisation's security posture
  • The ability to define security solutions and implement security services
  • Strong understanding of security standards (ISO, NIST, CES, etc)
  • Security professional certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CompTIA Sec+, CISMP
  • Previous roles in the Defence, Nuclear or Government (securing classified data) preferred

Current SC clearance preferred but you must be eligible to obtain SC clearance

Salary:
£65,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
