Why we are hiring


Due to significant investment to evolve into a purpose driven business, we require additional capacity within the Governance team, helping to manage day-to-day operations, performing internal audit compliance.


The Junior Compliance Officer will report to the Group Compliance Manager (GCM) and play an integral role in coordinating the Governance functions.

You will provide effective support to important initiatives such as expanding an existing governance framework (in-line with ISO 27001 / 27701 / 9001 and Cyber Essentials Plus) across the wider group of companies, performing internal audit activities in line with our ISO and contractual obligations, while being an ambassador for using our business as a force for good.


This position is a great opportunity for someone starting out or looking to broaden their compliance / governance prospects across multiple assessment and management systems (as we expand to also cover ISO14001 / 26000 / 22301 and also B-Corp).

As a fast-growing organisation, there are also opportunities to progress within the wider Kerv Group.


What we need from the role

  • Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans
  • Prepare and present reports that reflect audit's results and document process
  • Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement
  • Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
  • Maintain open communication with management and audit committee
  • Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum
  • Conduct follow up audits to monitor management's interventions
  • Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector's rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards
  • Help develop and manage future policies across the company
