    Machine Operator - Packaging

    Location: Parkgate, Rotherham

    Shifts:
    • Rotating Shifts (Monday to Friday)
    • Morning shift
    • Monday – Thursday 05:45-14:00.
    • Friday – 05:45-12:45
    • Afternoon shift
    • Monday – Thursday 13:45-22:00
    • Friday – 12:30-19:30
    • All shifts have one 30min break.

    Salary: £10.42 per hour

    Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent

    Join our dynamic team at a leading packaging manufacturing facility located in Parkgate, Rotherham. We specialize in producing high-quality packaging solutions for the food industry, adhering to stringent hygiene standards. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production process, contributing to the creation of packaging that meets the highest quality and safety standards.

    Responsibilities:
    • Operate and monitor machinery to ensure efficient and accurate packaging production.
    • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine issues to minimize downtime.
    • Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency.
    • Adhere to all hygiene and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

    Requirements:
    • Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
    • Ability to work on rotating shifts (AM and PM) from Monday to Friday.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
    • Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting machinery issues.
    • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
