About the Position:

If you're a Registered Nurse/ODP looking to switch up your career path, this opening in Theatres Recovery might just be the change you need. You're invited to drop by the department for an informal visit and get to know our team if you're considering applying. Though a background in surgery would be great, it's not a deal-breaker as we'll provide the necessary training. Full-time and part-time roles are up for grabs.

Main Job Responsibilities:

The fortunate candidates will get a special chance to be part of The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust Theatres Recovery Department during a phase of workforce redevelopment geared towards aiding the recovery and restoration scheme for delivering safe, high-quality, and sustainable services for future generations. Collaborating within a team, you'll deliver exceptional care to each patient, focusing on one patient at a time to ensure top-notch service consistently. If you already hold NMC/HCPC registration, we're here to provide you with tailored support as you ease into your new position. You'll remain supernumerary until you finish the Theatre competencies (typically 3 months in recovery, and 9 months in Theatres). Additionally, our dedicated internal professional development team supervises all the training we offer. There are specialized Theatres training programs and courses to boost your skills and advance your career with SaTH.
