Description

To lead, manage and ensure the successful delivery of user experience design work for national projects and/or products, to the required standard of quality within the specified time constraints on an assignment basis.

A User Experience Designer will typically work on a number of assignments simultaneously; assignments will vary in scale and complexity resulting in assignments that vary from a small number of weeks to a number of months in duration.

This includes understanding how to research user needs, outline the scope of the features and content, define the navigation and information hierarchy as well as creating wireframes and prototypes.

You would also test the designs created, for usability and then undertake appropriate evaluation. Mentoring and training for colleagues, to support the user experience design work, as appropriate.

This post is fixed term until 31/03/2025 to meet the needs of the service.
