Goodfish Group has an exciting opportunity at our Worcester site for an experience Injection Moulding Setter to join our nightshift.

If you have some setting experience and have achieved IMT2 but are looking to progress to IMT3 this may be the opportunity for you.

As a Setter on the nightshift, you will play a vital role ensuring the smooth running of the machines. With your expertise in Injection Moulding, you will be the driving force for the nightshift.

Outputs:

  • Offer support and supervision to operators to make sure they fully understand their job duties and quality requirements
  • Undertaking tool changes as per production plan, including but not limited to, tool preparation, clean hoppers, material preparation
  • Show confidence to adjust & improve moulding conditions
  • Set up and programme robots
  • Set up of ancillary equipment, such as water temp controllers, oil heaters, material drying
  • Set up and run automation cells
  • Ensure company health & safety policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Carry out shift handovers
  • Fault finding and problem solving of development and production processes
  • Ensure machines have sufficient material
  • Data collection and recording using paper and cloud based systems
  • Supporting a variety of mouldshop activities in a team environment

Personal:

  • Minimum technical qualification of IMT2 or equivalent
  • IT literate
  • Knowledge of a variety of materials
  • Appreciates the importance to get things right first time
  • Problem solving mindset
  • Demonstrate a level of determination to achieve multiple tasks in a busy environment
  • Able to communicate within a team environment
  • A conscientious attitude to work
  • Willingness to learn
  • A selfstarter with ambition and a thirst for learning
  • Confidently offers and implements ideas for improvements

Hours:
You will be employed to work 40 hours per week. Your working hours will be 22:00 - 06:00. Regular breaks are provided. A flexible approach to working additional hours on nights or at weekends is requested.
