Vanrath are supporting the recruitment of a Catering Assistant for a large public sector company within the Ballymena area on a temporary basis (term time).

Full time Monday - Friday

You will actively participate in the daily operation of the Catering Service under the direction of the Curriculum Manager including cash handling duties.

Team participation is essential to provide an efficient hygienic service, to achieve customer satisfaction and to promote sales within the unit.

The basic preparation of food and beverages including the preparation of vegetables and snacks.
Simple cooking including the reconstitution of prepared food.
Organisation and control of food service points.
Proven ability to maintain safe working practices whilst complying with Health & Safety & Hygiene Regulations
Applicants must have GCSE English Language grade A - C or equivalent.
Level 2 or equivalent in Catering
Food Hygiene Certificate or willing to complete it.
