Key Responsibilities:


The post sits in the Property Services team and the successful applicant will support the department ensuring the repair and maintenance service provides a high level of satisfaction to our tenants.


The post holder will be expected to provide efficient and effective customer service and assist the department to deliver a right first time reactive and planned maintenance to customers.


This will include:

  • Handle telephone enquiries and requests from tenants and issue works orders where required.
  • Ensure orders are carried out within timescales and escalate to Customer Service Officers where targets are not met.
  • Update and maintain records related to tenants' satisfaction.
  • Assist the department, where required, compiling reports and statistics on delivery of the service.
  • Acknowledge, record and deal with complaints promptly and in line with the Complaints Handling Policy. Identify and escalate Stage 2 complaints to the relevant member of staff.
  • Assist the Customer Service Officers to process invoices from contractors in line with the Associations internal financial control and treasury management policies and procedures.

About you:


You will be educated to Standard Grade level or equivalent and have experience working in a customer focussed front line role.

The successful applicant will have strong IT skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office Packages and will have excellent customer service skills with good attention to detail.

  • Contract: Fixed term 12 months contract till April 202
  • Full-time hours: 35 per week
  • Salary: £23,964 per year
  • Annual leave: prorata 28 days annual leave, plus 9 fixed public holidays total 37 holidays per year.
