    As part of our growth strategy in Asia we are now looking for a Senior or Lead Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Taipei .

    The role will primarily be a secondment into our client's - a leading offshore wind developer - project organization, but you will also interact with our main engineering teams in Europe and Asia.

    This will be a two-year fixed term contract in Taiwan which is anticipated to be extended, or transferred to a permanent role in another of our offices.

    We are looking for a Senior or Lead geotechnical Engineer with significant experience from the offshore wind industry.

    Y our role will be to lead geotechnical design activities and advise our client on various geotechnical topics as an integrated part of their project team.

    Be the Lead Geotechncial Engineer for an offshore wind farm in Taiwan
    Ensure that a high level of geotechnical quality is implemented across the project
    Advise project stakeholders on all aspects of geotechnical challenges and engineering for offshore wind farm development and construction
    Review and challenge documentation from external designers and contractors
    Drive and manage various engineering activities across the project
    Liaise with our client and in-house engineering team
    M aintain and build our strong network within the industry.

    You should hold a master's degree or higher in civil or geotechnical engineering. 10 years of relevant experience as a n offshore geotechnical engineer
    ~ Solid technical background in foundation design, pile-soil interaction, pile testing, driveability analysis, spudcan penetration analysis, seismic analysis geotechnical interpretation, etc and
    ~ Geohazard identification and management
    ~ Experience in managing engineering projects and developing engineering timelines
