The Opportunity

:

Come and join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team and work on one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK's climate change agenda and energy policy.

Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support.

The project is now seeking private investment with a view to start construction in 2024.

When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.


As a HR Business Partner Consultant, you'll work in partnership with designated line managers to provide professional advice and operational support and enable the managers to implement the business' agreed people plans to improve Business Unit or function performance.

The role will allow you to act as the conduit between EDF and the contracting partners we work with.

Our teams are set up to work flexibly, with a hybrid working approach between our offices and your home.

We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively.


The Role

:


We are looking for someone to coach, support and develop strong influential relationships with managers to ensure their leadership approach is in line with the project's expectations.


Working closely with the Civils Client and Delivery functions as well as the wider HR delivery and Shared Services teams, you'll facilitate delivery of HR services to the teams we support.


The Skills

:


You're likely to have experience of working with diverse management teams, at HRBP level or a HR Advisor looking for their next step in their career.


It would be expected of you to demonstrate understanding in the areas of change and strategic consulting, performance management, reward management, people development, talent management resourcing and ER/engagement.


It would be great if you are comfortable in complex environments and able to appreciate the relevance of strategic imperatives to day-to-day HR activity.

Experience as a graduate/associate member of CIPD is preferable.
