Summary of Job:

To provide admin support to the co-ordinators and managers of the Removals Team.

To follow instructions on how to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner and to ensure all requests are carried out in accordance to the requirements of the team.

Principal Accountabilities:


  • Filing and scanning
  • Entry of data in our operative system regarding mileage, times and packing materials usage
  • Data entry
  • Producing paperwork
  • Communication with key accounts
  • Admin support to the operations team
  • Other adhoc administrative tasks
  • Arrange parking permits with different councils
  • Complete customs NES /VGM's online
  • Produce crew notes and ensure that all job notes are in each day's trays
  • Liaising with shipping lines to book shipping container movements
  • Create online insurance certificates
  • Contact third party companies for rates
  • Answer the office phone and put the caller through to the relevant department
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, crew members and transport companies
  • Scheduling goods to be moved into and out of warehouse

Skills & Qualifications:


  • Educated to Alevel or completed a relevant apprenticeship
  • Previous adminstration experience
  • Good knowledge of Excel preferable
  • Previous analytic/numbers work

£21,000.00 per year
