Summary of Job:


To work as a team to pack, load and stow client goods and ensure their secure transportation carefully and efficiently.

To follow instructions from Team Leader, whilst on jobs. To complete all forms and admin related to post. To represent Company by being well presented and being professional and polite at all times.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Compliance with all health and safety requirements
  • To use all materials efficiently and for the purpose for which they are designed following the company packing guidelines
  • To work efficiently at all times with accuracy and care to ensure client goods and home are not damaged
  • Follow instructions from Team Leader in labelling cartons and completing inventories
  • To support the team leader in all aspects of the job, and especially whilst on client site
  • Inform team leader of any items needing crating or special attention
  • Uphold a current valid drivers' licence suitable for the vehicle to be driven

General responsibilities

  • To be punctual and work in an efficient manner
  • To take personal responsibility for decisions and set an example in terms of integrity, openness, and fairness
  • To uphold the organisation's B.A.R. and code of conduct

Skills & Qualifications:


  • Previous experince in removals / export packing or related fields
  • Experience with safely handling different types of goods / materials
  • High attention to detail

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
