- Mobile plant, static plant and general site maintenance
- To ensure the plant is maintained, clean and in good working order at all times
- Plant Maintenance Engineer duties to include:
- Active plant & baler maintenance, belts, motors, greasing points
- Order all required components via the site manager
- Supervising the cleaners as required
- Ensure all plant sheets completed
- Ensure maintenance rotas completed
- Ensure equipment and tools are safely stowed away
- Ensure all jobs logged in the Plant Maintenance Diary
- Ensure all tasks communicated and handed over between shifts
- Ensure that all lock-off and safety procedures complied with
- Wear correct PPE at all times
- Hard hats to be worn at all times
- Ensure that you are correctly attired at all times
- Smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking areas
- Staff usage of the mobile telephone is only allowed in the welfare areas
- Failure to comply with these instructions will result in disciplinary action
