Senior Accounts Cashier - Rugby
37.5 hours per week

We have 7 regional offices in the Midlands, and an office in London allowing us to work closely with clients with land & property interests throughout the Midlands & beyond.
The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Accounts Cashier or to ensure compliance with RICS Clients Money accounting rules along with other statutory and regulatory requirements.
You will be responsible for managing the Accounts Cashiers team in the accurate and timely processing and management of clients' money, including rent management.
In this role, day to day you can expect to:- Ensuring daily cashier processes are completed accurately
- Overseeing the cashiering workload including, delegating workflow to the team, ensuring completion of tasks, acting as point of escalation for queries, and reporting.
- Process key bank transactions
- Reconcile bank statements
- Resolve any discrepancies and complex issues
- Other general accounting tasks

Your Skills & Qualifications:
Essential:
- Previous management experience in a similar accounting role
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple demands in a fastchanging environment
- Excellent problem solving skills; the ability to identify the root cause and present suitable solutions
- Strong investigative, analytical skills
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel
- Ability to prioritise workloads under pressure
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Organised with a methodical approach
- A passion for getting it right, first time
Desirable:
- Experience in rental accounts
- Knowledge of RICS client money handling standards and guidance
- Experience of using AltoPM
