**Procurement Administrator - Construction

Based in Sheffield -20k-22k salary**Howells Solutions are currently recruiting for a permanent Purchasing Administrator based from there Head Office in Sheffield.


Procurement Administrator - Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the Directors' PM on a daily basis as required
  • Support the Directors' PM to ensure the smooth running of Administration on projects
  • Support Procurement Manager when required
  • Support the Purchasing Administrator when required
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders on proposed works and during the construction phase
  • Ordering materials, plant and labour with support given by the Orders Dept and Directors' PM
  • Creating subcontractor orders
  • Tracking subcontractor Pre Qualification Questionaires, Site Audits and their Insurance details
  • Liaising with H&S, Design & Technical, Estimating and Business Development to ensure scope of works and delivering of works is fulfilled
  • Submitting invoices to the client and chasing outstanding payments
  • Provide cover for Directors' PM at holiday and peak periods as directed
  • Provide cover for holiday and peak periods as directed by Directors' PM
  • Support Procurement Manager when required

Procurement Administrator - What we are looking for:

  • Attention to detail and analytical approach
  • Ability to drive to the sites if required General IT:
  • Competent user MS Excel, Word and Outlook
