Training Manager

National Role

£30K - £40K + Car Allowance + Benefits


My client is a leading contractor operating within the passive fire protection market, delivering fire door installation and fire compartmentation projects.

Due to a period of successful growth and a number of contract wins, they are looking to recruit aTraining Manager to support an exciting period of growth within the business.


You will join the Transformation Team with early involvement with the Advanced Project to support the best possible landing across the business.


Training Manager Key Responsibilities:


  • Attending all Advanced workshops/training/working sessions/internal meets capturing/documenting information required for training content and guidance.
  • Creating and managing the overall training plan for Advanced delivery, plus ongoing onboarding.
  • Supporting the communications/engagement plan working with the project team.
  • Full involvement in User Acceptance Testing, working with the project team to record and document all content for delivery through the plan Instructor led sessions reinforced with 'Training Bites' (Short videos) and 'Quick Cards'.
  • Working with the project team to set up and maintain a matrix of superusers and champions, building relationships with them, ensuring consistency and support.
  • Being the first point of contact for all training requests, working with the project team to build into the plan.
  • Keeping on top of and implementing changes to training content as the system develops beyond go live.
  • Training records management.
  • Creation and delivery of the onboarding training programme by role for new starters, handing over to superusers at an agreed point post induction.
  • Reporting on attendance, training feedback, change requests, continual improvement.

Training Manager Experience:


  • System training delivery via instructor led and eLearning methods
  • Instructional Design Techniques
  • The ability to provide coaching and mentoring at all levels
  • The ability to provide training to groups of varied sizes

Training Manager Salary & Benefits:


This is a permanent, full-time role for which you will receive an excellent salary of up to £40K + Benefits (depending on experience), along with additional benefits including: 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) + paid Christmas Shutdown, 5% employer pensioncontribution, death in service benefit (4 x salary), training and development opportunities, flexible, family friendly working environment and Team/company events and competitions.
