Reservations & Operations Executive
This successful travel company have more than 40 years experience operating worldwide holidays.
As a Reservations & Operations Executive you will be working in a small team dealing with enquiries, supporting customers throughout their booking journey and assisting with the organisation and operation of the holiday from start to finish.
Reservations & Operations Executive - Role and Responsibilities
- Assist customers from their initial enquiry, through to making the necessary travel, hotel and transfer arrangements for their holidays and assisting until the return to the UK.
- Ensure all bookings and customer details are accurately recorded in the reservation system.
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm bookings, prepare documents and deal with any amendments arising.
- Assist with handling & resolving customer issues arising.
- Attend travel shows to promote the worldwide products as required.
Reservations and Operations Executive - Key Skills/Experience
- Experience within the travel industry in sales, operations or customer service.
- Preferably experience of working to sales targets.
- Exceptional telephone manner and customer service skills with experience of customer care / complaint handling and resolution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong numeracy skills.
- Strong accuracy & attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload to deal with a range of tasks with changing priorities.
- Flexible approach with ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Strong worldwide destination knowledge, specifically with Australia, New Zealand, North America & South Africa.
Reservations & Operations Executive - Additional Information:
- Salary £27,500 plus bonus.
- Hybrid working 4 days from home, 1 day office based.
- Monday to Friday 9 to
- Rural location, ability to drive essential.
