HIU Service / Commissioning Engineer

£40k-£45k Base Salary (Fully Employed) + Company Van + Pension + Sickness Insurance & Death in Service + Overtime

Mobile Engineer covering London and within the M25.

Superb opportunity to join an established client of ours, who are one of the UK's market leaders in delivering centralised community energy projects to public / private residential, retail and commercial sectors.

With a background in design, install andmaintaining de-centralised energy centres.

Job Role:

Working on various sites in London and within the M25, you'll need to live commutable to London.
You'll be responsible for servicing and commissioning Heat / Hydraulic Interface Units to ensure the HIU is energy efficient and to minimise breakdowns until the next service interval.
Reactive maintenance to Hydraulic Interface Units to investigate the cause and effect a first time repair.
Assist with other mechanical services and the overall service and maintenence within Energy Centres.

Key Skills / Experience Required:

Served a recognised trade in either Plumbing, Pipefitting or HVAC, therefore ideally with a mechanical bias.
Relevant City & Guilds or NVQ certificates or equivalent.
Experience in servicing HIUs and reacting to HIU breakdowns.
Ideally you'll have some electrical knowledge as well as mechanical, such as 17th edition or 18th edition (however not essential).
Hold current CSCS card (not essential and will be provided if required).
Heat Interface Unit, HIU, Energy Centre, Plant Rooms, District Heating, Plumbing and Heating. _
