Salary:
£24,500 per annum basic (Plus commission) rising to £25,000 per annum upon completion of probation

Main Responsibilities:

This role is to support the Auction Division in all aspects, but not limited to:

  • Reporting to the Head of Auctions to achieve auction sales, conveyancing and financial services targets and maintain the businesses position as the area's leading agent within the marketplace.
  • Dealing with telephone and face to face enquiries and providing high levels of customer service at all times.
  • Prequalifying applicants and arranging viewings
  • Supporting the Auction team with administrative duties including the carrying out any checks to comply with legislation.
  • Negotiating offers on Lots.
  • Processing buyers and sellers' information regarding financial position.
  • Booking and arranging viewings and valuations.
  • Ensuring a smooth hand over of keys upon completion and ensure all parties always experience the best service, always.
  • Carrying out viewings if required.
  • Managing preauction bidder registrations

Key requirements

  • Previous experience in an estate agency or auctioneer role essential
  • Be commercially astute, understanding the importance of business targets and their impact to the practice.
  • Have a commitment to providing an excellent standard of client care.
  • Be IT literate with experience of using a webbased case management system.
  • Proactive and business minded.
  • Full driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Strong organisational skills able to prioritise own time and workload
  • Ability to work well on their own and as a team
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
