Currently we are looking for a Sales Ledger Assistant to provide efficient and effective day to day general administrative support within the accounts department.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Carry out sales day book duties and post invoices onto sales ledger accounts for all companies within the group.
  • Maintain the debtors list for all companies within the group, checking balances to ledger and final analysis.
  • To raise monthly statements for all companies within the group.
  • To progress payments and pursue outstanding debts, liaising closely with the sales administration manager on problem debts.
  • Generate income lists for all companies within the group.
  • File proof of exports and monitor missing paperwork.
  • Processing import and export shipping invoices.
  • To provide sales ledger training to other staff when necessary.
  • Supporting purchase ledger as and when required.

Essential Experience:


  • Excellent IT skills including Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Working in sales accounts position previously would be desirable.
Full time position.

Salary commensurate with experience.


Hours are based on a 40 hour week, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm with half an hour each day for lunch.
