Receptionist - Manchester


We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time corporate receptionist to work in a wonderful recently refurbished grade II listed office building.

Ideally located between two of the city's

most popular business districts, St Peters Square and Spinningfields, the building is a short walk from St Peters Square Metro link and Manchester Piccadilly.


You will 'own' the ground floor reception, taking pride in managing every visitor's journey, ensuring an exemplary level of customer service is delivered, with the ultimate aim of leaving a lasting impression.


You will liaise with letting agents and prepare the building for viewings, working seamlessly with the teams on the ground to ensure a first-class viewing experience.

As companies start
to move in you will naturally welcome incoming occupiers, helping to curate a 'building community'


Hours 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday

(Note - working hours could change when companies move into the building)


Salary - £25,584 pa

Key Responsibilities*Managing reception*- Manage and take ownership of the reception area to ensure the ambiance reflects the clients' expectations

  • Responsible for delivering an exceptional meet and greet service, ensuring a warm, friendly and professional welcome
  • Sign in all visitors to the building following appropriate reception processes
  • Efficiently manage deliveries including couriers and post

The Building

  • Confidently manage maintenance contractors and ensure building issues are reported and managed to resolution. This will include communication with the Facilities Manager
  • Develop strong working relationships with the local letting agents and support them by ensuring any vacant office space is kept pristine in preparation for viewings
  • Produce a weekly report for key stakeholders

Concierge initiatives

  • You will be interested in local news and what's happening in the area and keeping tenants informed
  • Research and deliver relevant initiatives, freebies and services which are of interest to those who work in the building, as and when required
  • Introduce a monthly newsletter promoting initiatives and concierge services

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • You have a vibrant personality and a cando attitude to own and front this highend reception area
  • You must be proficient at delivering a highend 'meet and greet' service, working efficiently and professionally at all times
  • You have excellent verbal / written communication skills
  • You are Mac/PC literate and proficient in Microsoft Office and related software packages
