- Work within the Macular, Retinal Vein Occlusion, and Diabetic Macular Oedema service to administer intravitreal injections following national guidelines and department policies.
- Participate in the Glaucoma service by conducting monitoring assessments, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring optimal service delivery.
- Lead a nurse-led cyst clinic, making treatment decisions and performing procedures according to department protocols.
- Conduct diagnostic tests in Macular and Glaucoma sub-specialties as needed.
- Perform Biometry measurements following Royal College of Ophthalmology guidance.
- Independently administer intravitreal injections to patients in Macular, RVO, and DMO clinics, aligning with treatment protocols and NICE guidelines.
