Our client is looking to appoint a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis to be based in their office 4 days a week.


This position will play a key role in the preparation and submission of VAT returns for the Group and supporting in the year end process and Audit.


As a Financial Accountant you will play a key role in the team that are working out of their Watford Office.


Key Position responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in Month end reporting
  • Financial reporting reconciliations
  • Fixed Asset reporting
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Treasury, cash and covenant reporting
  • Ensuring financial records are kept up to date across the Group companies
  • Assisting with the year end process and audit
  • Maintain up to date financial records.
  • Provide support on the preparation of statutory accounts
  • Ensure financial records are kept up to date across the Group companies
  • VAT submissions across group
  • Cash reporting
  • Cashflow management
Person Specification

  • Attention to detail, with good analytical and numerical skills.
  • Team player and ability to work collaboratively with the wider team to meet periodic deadlines
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technical accounting knowedge.
  • A selfstarter who is able to prioritise and manage deadlines.
  • Ability to bring a commercial outlook to the role such that deliverables add value and insight to the business.
You will have experience in a similar role and be ideally qualified ACCA or CIMA. The client will consider PQ or QBE if you have relevant and recent experience in Financial Accounting.
