The Role of the Ticketing Operations Exec
This role plays an important part in one of the largest revenue areas for the business.

Working with the Ticketing Operations Manager, the Ticketing Technical Support Exec will provide technical support and assistance as required to ensure smooth running of our ticketing operations.


Main Accountabilities

  • Configuring matches and events for on sale and off sale / pricing / sales quotas for defined sales windows.
  • Reporting on sales, revenue, and access control. Updating and creating data reports in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ticket sales reconciliation with other Clubs.
  • Work with Ticketing Operations Manager to ensure that the Access Control systems are integrated and compatible for the match modes for Brentford FC, London Irish RFC and any other matches or events staged at the Gtech Community Stadium
  • Work closely with internal teams so that campaigns, promotions and all branding is set up correctly on ticketing system.
  • Support other areas of the club with internal ticketing and data reporting requirements.
  • Ensure efficient day to day running of all ticketing services. Processing internal data in a methodical and organised way
  • Supporting Venue Sales Team with Ticket fulfilment as required.
  • Work as part of a team assisting in other areas of the office to meet business demands
  • Ensure matchday ticketing operations are smooth running for both internal colleagues and fans
  • Provide input and ideas in to new and innovative ways of providing our ticketing solutions
  • Consider available ticketing data and use it to influence decision making
  • Accountable for all the procedures and standards required for prematch ticketing checks with a requirement on matchday to resolve technical ticketing issues.
  • To provide a technical working relationship with third parties to help deliver the smooth operations of the ticketing function this includes but not limited to; London Irish and our data services company, Ticketing and Access Control system providers.

Person Specification - Essential Personal Characteristics

  • Ticketing experience in a sports club or similar organisation
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.

Person Specification - Desirable Characteristics

  • Experience using and configuring events on Ticketmaster's XR Sport ticketing system.
  • Knowledge of the working relationship between ticketing and access control systems with the ability to fault find and resolve technical issues.
