Supervisor Waiting Well Project
Salary:
£26,511 Full time equivalent
Hours:
Full time (37 hours per week) part time hours considered
Term:
Fixed term contract until 31st March 2024 with likelihood of extension
funding permitting
Location:
Exeter office and remote home working

Work alongside and assist the Operations Co-ordinator to enable people to stay as healthy as possible whilst waiting for NHS treatment.
The role:
- Support and deputise for the Operations Coordinator
- Supervise team members
- Research appropriate information and services to meet service users' needs
- Use a personcentered holistic approach to empower service users
- Log all service user contacts onto the Living Options Devon Customer Relationship Management System in the agreed manner
- Provide data as requested for evaluation and monitoring purposes
Living Options Devon exists to ensure people with physical, learning and/or sensory disabilities and Deaf people with sign language can make an active and equal contribution in society.
- Knowledge of the health and social care system
- Understanding of key issues affecting people waiting for NHS treatments.
- Previous experience of working as a health or social care professional or support worker
- Experience of leading a small team of staff to deliver client facing services
- Understanding of the importance of patient record related legislation eg safeguarding, confidentiality, GDPR etc
- Ability to work alone
- Highly motivated
- Numeracy Skills
- IT Skills

An enhanced DBS check is required for this post.
- Oversee the daily operations of the wellness department in a hotel setting
- Coordinate and schedule wellness activities, classes, and events for guests
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure guest satisfaction
- Manage a team of wellness staff, including trainers, instructors, and therapists
- Develop and implement wellness programs and initiatives to promote healthy living
- Collaborate with other departments, such as catering and banquet, to coordinate wellnessrelated services for events
- Monitor and maintain inventory of wellness supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of wellness practices and techniques
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
Salary:
£26,511.00 per year
