We are looking for a Personal Assistant to help care for a lady in her early eighties who is based in Castledykes, Dumfries.

Support Required
Ideally you will have worked with people who have Alzheimer's and also who have limited mobility.

You will be required to provide personal care, assisting with mobility, creating variety and stimulus, and when the weather is warmer, getting the lady outside in the fresh air through the use of their wheelchair.

You will work as a team with another personal assistant.

Requirements:

Safe manual handling/lifting of people with mobility issues.
Clean Driving Licence and access to own vehicle is essential.
It is desirable that applicants have had previous experience in adult support services or care services, however, specific training can be sourced if the successful applicant has no previous experience in working in adult support services.
