ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT - FREDERICK HOLMES SCHOOL

Grade:3, scp 3-5


Salary:
£22,737- £23,500 FTE, £11.79- £12.18/hr


Hours of work:
Up to 25hours/wk days/times to be negotiated

Actual Starting Salary: 25hrs - £13,226

Contract:
Permanent, Term time + 5 training days (195 days)


Start date:
ASAP following pre-employment checks

We are delighted to offer the opportunity for a skilled Administration Assistant to join our wonderful team.

Having experience in all aspects of administrative duties you will be able to contribute to the development of the school's administration, financial and support services.


Frederick Holmes School is a community special school catering for pupils with severe physical/ learning disabilities and those with profound and multiple needs aged 2-19.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:


  • Provide all aspects of the school's administrative, financial and support services with a focus on attendance.
  • Deal with reception visitors
  • Assist with managing and maintaining manual and computerised records
  • Organise school trips/events
  • Undertake typing and IT based tasks e.g. ScholarPack input / updating online sites

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:


  • GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent in English and Mathematics
  • Training in IT based systems e.g. Microsoft Package, Sage
  • Experience using ScholarPack or equivalent pupil database
  • Experience of communicating with the public and outside agencies
  • Experience of producing / maintaining / evaluating data
