The Team & Focus of the Role

We're looking to welcome a new colleague into our finance team

We're looking for an experienced Sales Ledger Controller to join the small & friendly team in our Head Office in Ashby de la Zouch. Joining a team of 7, this role will ideally suit you if you're detail orientated, enjoy working in a vibrant & social office and always give a first-class experience to the wider business.

This is a full-time, permanent role and the hours will be Monday to Friday although there is flexibility with these timings as long as our core hours are covered & we operate a hybrid working policy.

In return, beyond your base salary you will be included in:

Duties will include:

• Daily banking and bank reconciliations
• Monthly control account reconciliations
• Preparing and distributing reports showing the ageing of sales ledger debt
• Maintaining the cashbook
• Recording day to day incoming and outgoing payments and other financial transactions on Dimensions
• Liaising with other business areas to allocate cash received correctly
• Allocating cash promptly and correctly, including liaising with other business areas to ensure that all cash received is allocated
• Ad hoc projects as required

The successful candidate will have...

• Previous experience within a similar role
• High attention to detail
• Great communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Strong use of Microsoft Packages - especially Excel
• Competent IT skills
