Description
We are looking for a talented and motivated Event Coordinator to organise outstanding and unforgettable events.You will be in charge of every part of event preparations, such as choosing venues, approving the locations, developing timetables, managing a team and evaluating success afterwards.
As the Event Coordinator, you should be well-organised and possess a sound knowledge of vendor management.You will have great attention to detail, have the ability to think outside the box and possess excellent communication skills.
Managing multiple responsibilities and having the solution oriented mentality are vital in this role, as our success depends on meeting our client's tailored requirements.
Event Coordinator Responsibilities- Identify the client's requirements and expectations for each event
- Maintain event budgets
- Assess an event's overall success and submit findings
- Manage all event setup, tear down and followup processes
- Conduct final inspections on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to the client's standards
- Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order
- Book venues, entertainers, photographers, and schedule speakers
- Experience working in a high pace environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding vendor management skills
- Wellorganised with excellent multitasking abilities
- High School Diploma and ideally evident interest in the events/marketing field
