We are looking for someone to join a small communication and engagement team.

With our values supporting our vision we are looking for someone who will be involved in all aspects of communication and engagement activities including digital communications, media relations, marketing of products and services and internal and stakeholder communications.

This role will suit someone with a positive can do attitude. They must have excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task on a variety of responsibilities.

The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines is essential to the role


Main duties of the job

  • Work with the Senior Leadership Team to commission, write, edit, proofread, and coordinate internal and external publications, including enewsletters, seeking the correct sign off for each item
  • Write press releases, articles and other written communications and documents, organising the ordering of printing and distribution where necessary
  • Produce high quality proactive media and marketing messages
  • Manage the CRGPA websites and intranets and establish our presence on social networking sites.
  • Proactively monitor and manage agreed communication channels, including social media
  • Provide communications, marketing communications and media advice to managers, staff, and committees.
  • Support with broader external relations and stakeholder engagement, including coordinating visits and events
  • Monitor and evaluate communications and engagement activity to ensure agreed standards and targets are achieved
  • Manage and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, partners and staff ensuring communication with all is consistent, relevant and persuasive when required taking into account any barriers to understanding
  • Undertake administrative tasks, commensurate with the role, to support the needs of the business.

The Coventry and Rugby GP Alliance is a private company limited by shares, wholly owned by local Coventry and Rugby GP practices.

As a GP led organisation, we represent 50 GP practice shareholders and cover nearly 420,000 patients.

We describe our work in terms of Supporting, Innovating, Developing and Educating - we are on the S.I.D.E.

of general practice and we have developed our Operational Plans to describe what we are going to do over this year to ensure that we continue to high quality, accessible and responsive services for both practices and patients.

Job description

Job responsibilities

£21,000.00 per year

Education:

Licence/Certification:

  • A Level in English Literature (required)
