We operate over 7 million of warehousing space across 30+ locations in the UK. Our distribution network spans all corners of the country.

Our
Banbury site are now recruiting for a
Transport Planner on a full time basis


Salary:
£30,000 per annum


Working hours:
Monday to Friday. 8am - 5pm


The purpose of a
Transport Planner is to be responsible for overseeing the day to day planning of the transport operation, through efficient planning.

We are looking for a highly motivated and driven individual, you will be experienced atworking in a busy transport department, able to deal with day to day challenges and provide cost effective solutions.


Key Duties of a Transport Planner:

  • Subcontracting and planning orders out of multiple warehouse facilities and manufacturing sites across the UK.
  • Liaising with Traffic and Administration teams to ensure the highest standards of performance are maintained at all times.
  • Maintaining, creating and updating spreadsheets and databases for customer reports.
  • Reporting problems and dealing with issues and any queries that arise.

Qualifications

  • Be able to demonstrate a high level of transport planning expertise in a busy and demanding environment.
  • Be able to make decisions under pressure, and to a tight timescale.
  • Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business, particularly at peak periods during the year.
  • Have the ability to identify and suggest improvements to benefit both the Company and our customer.
  • Knowledge of SAP, BPCS and Road Runner would be advantageous.
