Role Overview:
We're seeking a proactive and motivated graduate, or someone with a few years experience, to join our London based PR team to help us get tonnes of links and coverage.
You will play an important role in writing, updating and optimising our pages for SEO and you will have the organisational skills needed to help our team, and our award schemes, operate effectively.
Personal finance is an area that interests you, and you're keen to get stuck into a variety of things and learn lots of new skills.
This role is offered as hybrid, with some days in our London office and the opportunity to work remotely.About Finder:
Responsibilities
You will play a key role in gaining links by outreaching our research pages, helping to update and maintain the pages and keeping the team organised.
Specifically you will be responsible for:
- 'Pitching' to journalists, bloggers and organisations to secure coverage and SEO links for press releases, reactive comments, blogs and data stories
- Finding and logging coverage that the team achieves
- Updating our research and statistics pages with fresh information and helping to optimise them for SEO
- Overseeing our awards scheme operation (organising the trophies and design assets, among other things)
- Create innovative data insights via tables, charts and dynamic visualisations
- Writing succinct, coherent and engaging text for the pages you work on
- Help to source, manipulate and combine data sets and survey results to create engaging research and pages
- Helping the team to come up with innovative research ideas and bringing them to life
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Universityeducated with a 2:1 grade or above, or equivalent work experience
- Motivated, proactive and patient with a nevergiveup attitude
- Fantastic personal organisation that you can bring to the team
- Strong maths/analytical skills and will be able to analyse data effectively to find unique and interesting story ideas
- Strong writing ability
- Existing knowledge, or keen to learn, about SEO and wordpress
- Existing knowledge, or a desire to learn, about various personal finance topics
- Eager to learn and a team player who is goalorientated
