Description

  • Supporting departments and branches in maintaining the Information Asset register and their Records of Processing
  • Carry out regulatory and legal horizon scanning
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Privacy
  • Support other 1st line of defence stakeholders in meeting their Privacy Obligations
  • Coordinate and support the completion of Privacy Impact Assessments capturing any residual risks
  • Respond to and assess Data Breaches
  • Maintain existing Privacy Framework of Policies and Standards.
  • Work with the 2nd Line of Defence to ensure Privacy Risks are reflected correctly and responding to their challenge
  • With Legal Department, support contracting departments in observing obligations in the use of Data Processors and Data Exports.
  • Coordinating Governance meetings, collating and reporting MI, representing the Privacy Office across the Bank.
  • Work closely with the Data Office to ensure GDPR and other privacy requirements are reflected in the structured and unstructured data governance
  • Develop a framework to address both Privacy and nonpersonal data handling including it collection, processing, sharing and disposal of information.
  • Understand and centralise the requirements from our Legal and Compliance stakeholders and begin the standardisation of business rules around them

Profile
Must be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge of the Privacy regulations across EMEA

Must be able to demonstrate a practical approach to the implementation of proportionate controls in an operational context

Must have experience in stakeholder management and dealing with Senior Leadership

Must be capable of working under their own direction.


Must be able to demonstrate and ability to explain the value of good Privacy controls in a way that can be easily understood by stakeholders.

Must be familiar with the information handling requirements between Public/Private side.

Should have a recognised Privacy Qualification

Should have experience in working within Financial Services.

Should have experience of leading a team across remote locations

Should understand the technical controls typically deployed in Financial Services including the typical Information Management and Security capabilities deployed.

Should be capable of effective written and oral communication
