Description

We are looking for a Caretaker who will provide quality assurance by monitoring environmental parameters and the effectiveness of facility sanitation.


Main duties:

  • A caretaker is in charge of supervising cleaning staff in order to keep the environment clean, healthy, and conducive.
  • Performs daily maintenance and minor repairs on broken frames, wornout knobs, rusted metals, and other items
  • Ensures that doors and windows are locked and that no one can break in while the building is vacant, vacated, or not in use
  • Ensures that the environment is safe, secure, and free of hazardous substances.
  • Maintains order and keeps all equipment, tools, and materials on the building premises secure, cared for, and in proper working order

This is a DBS post - the applicant must have an Enhanced DBS check

  • Regulated Children's this is a relief post
  • Facility Supervisor and will cover schools across the Newcastle area _
    37 hours
  • Split shift 7:00am 11:00am & 3:00pm 6:00pm_

Location:
Condercum Road Depot

Salary:
£9.05 per hour
