We require support from an HSEQ Specialist on a contract basis to deliver HSEQ projects for our ModuSpec business.

The contracts will be delivered on behalf of our Aberdeen office primarily servicing the Europe & Africa region, however other global locations will apply.

ModuSpec first introduced the concept of rig inspection to the market in 1986 and over the past 37+ years, has been providing unrivalled rig intake & inspection and market leading BOP compliance & verification services.

We provide assurance and technical advice that supports the improvement of drilling operations, including the performance and compliance of rig equipment, the competency of the people and robustness of the management systems in place.

Our focus is on a customised approach, working together with our client and the drilling contractor to challenge the traditional way of working to improve efficiency during the rig selection, inspection, and acceptance process.

We mobilise discipline specific field specialists around the globe to drilling rigs and vessels onshore and offshore for short and long-term projects with our clients.

Purpose:

Resources requirements:

Be responsible for delivery of HSEQ assessments, audits and reviews from start to end, to deliver maximum value to the client and stakeholders through diligent preparation during kickoff meetings, and ensuring customised deliverables are effectively executed.
Provide HSEQ technical support to stakeholders on projects utilising your knowledge of what is required to comply with local and international regulations and to meet client specific requirements.
Support the compilation, analysis, and completion of deliverables, including closure of recommendations.
Support stakeholders at all levels to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Travel globally (onshore and offshore) with valid basic offshore safety induction and emergency (BOSIET) training.
Hold a degree level qualification in a related field or have relevant industry experience.
Have attained International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) Lead Auditor certification.
Hold a strong functional working knowledge of a spectrum of international standards and industry best practice, ISO, API, etc, including industry best practices (Drops Online, OEUK, IOGP).
Experience with training and competency management systems.
Past documented performance history performing audits and/or other technically related services.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficient in use of Microsoft office.
