Vysus Group is a leading engineering and technical consultancy offering specialist asset performance, risk management and project management expertise across complex industrial assets, energy assets (oil and gas, nuclear, renewables) and the energy transition.
We are looking for
Environmental and Sustainability Consultants to join our Risk Management Consulting team to be based in either Aberdeen or Manchester to help us meet the growing demand for our technical services to support the energy transition.
We support owners and operators of complex, high-risk and capital-intensive assets, and their supply chains, ensuring the right solutions are in place to control risk and prepare for emergencies.
We work in partnership with owners and developers of energy, power and complex industrial assets and infrastructure, to interpret and manage complexity, reduce project risk and optimise asset performance.
Working with clients in the global energy sector and difficult to decarbonise industrial sectors, we support our clients with:
- Incremental improvements to existing assets and supply chain.
- Major engineering improvements and decommissioning.
- Step change decarbonisation e.g. renewables, hydrogen, CCUS, electrification, carbon accounting.
- Environmental assessment.
- Audit, assurance and verification.
- Systems of governance, audit and regulatory affairs.
- Nonfinancial data assurance, ESG reporting and disclosure.
- Emissions management.
As a member of the Vysus team, you will work with colleagues from a range of disciplines including technical safety, asset management, rig inspection, survey and geotechnic here in the UK and from our locations in Norway, Spain and around the world.
Our typical client base includes:
- Policy makers.
- Regulators.
- Developers.
- Investors and joint venture partners.
- Key contractors, Duty Holders and appointed operators.
- Supply chain service providers.
- Technology providers.
- Statutory consultees and other interested parties.
The precise nature of your role will reflect your level of experience covering project execution and service delivery, bids, tenders, client relationship and QA.
Depending on your experience, your role may also be expanded to include business development; managing projects, deliverables and budgets; and managing client relationships.
To be successful in the role of Environmental and Sustainability Consultant we are looking for you to have:- A degree or a higher-level qualification in a relevant discipline, together with experience in delivering consultancy.
- Relevant profession qualifications and status including Chartership, membership of IEMA, CIWEM or equivalent.
- Business development.
- Managing project deliverables and budgets.
- Managing client relationships.
