Accounts Assistant - The Role:
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Processing of AP invoices
- PO and nonPO
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Processing of company credit cards
- Processing of expenses
- Creating supplier payment runs
- Processing of AR invoices including consolidated
- Credit control
- Bank reconciliation for GBP bank account
- Monitoring the accounts inbox dealing with both internal and external queries
- Assisting with month end duties such as posting accruals/ prepayments, P&L reviewing
- Assisting with audit queries
Accounts Assistant - The Skills & Experience
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience with purchase and sales ledgers (can post AP/AR invoices)
- Posting bank transactions
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work independently of supervision and be proactive in all areas of the role
- Able to manage workload and prioritise tasks
- Advanced Excel skills
- Remain composed in a busy / fast paced environment
- Team player with "hands on" approach
- Excellent Communication skills
- Willing and able to learn
