Our client is a specialist in global supply chain and logistics solutions, they are looking for an experienced Multi Modal Freight Sales Manager to join their offices based in Manchester.

Multi Modal Freight Sales Manager - The Rewards

  • Salary from £40,000 pa

Multi Modal Freight Sales Manager - Requirements

  • At least 3 years' experience driving sales in International Multi Modal Freight services
  • Proven track record of Business Development
  • Specific experience in International Logistics, Air Freight, Sea Freight, Road Freight and Groupage
  • Experience of Account Management
  • Desire to drive new sales
  • Strong knowledge of International Trade routes
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Experience in working to targets and KPIs
  • Excellent attention to detail skills
  • Excellent communication/telephone skills. Strong administrative and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure using own initiative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word/Powerpoint
  • Adaptability

Multi Modal Freight Sales Manager - Responsibilities

  • Identify, target and generate new business
  • Liaise with Operations Teams
  • Conduct meetings with new and existing clients
  • Account Management
  • Generate quotes for customers
  • Visit customer sites for new and existing business
  • Be selfmotivated and sales driven
  • Utilise excellent market knowledge in Multi Modal Freight
