Overview


A critical priority for Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) is to ensure that high-quality data is available to run our business and meet our clients' needs.

The AWM Chief Data Office (CDO), is part of the AWM Chief Operating Office and is responsible for defining core data strategies, and in partnership with business and technology stakeholders, has a key role in transforming AMW into a data driven organization that leverages analytic tools, AI/ML models and comprehensive core data sets to drive decision making, product innovation, and valuable insights for our clients.

This specific role is to run the Data Visibility Product covering Asset Management (AM).

Data Visibility is a key control across AM (including reducing regulatory risk), especially for the multiple front office teams, and can also be a business enabler (or barrier if not done right).

Now that AM has a technology platform built to help manage this, we are seeking an individual to shape, influence and drive improvement in this arena across AM

This individual will be responsible for identifying opportunities and leading projects to help the business and their support teams.

This will require engaging a broad group of teams across the globe from front office to research, business management, risk, finance, operations, and technology at all reporting levels.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Define and manage scope of records where there is business value in managing access centrally
  • Set and enforce standards for rolebased control of both centrally managed and esoteric data access
  • Identify and develop methodologies for automated rulebased, attributedriven control methodologies
  • Analyse and evolve operating model to comply with regulations & integration requirements with new business structures
  • Ensure governance & oversight model for provision, validation and certification of data access
