    The Job:

    A London-based agency specialising in the processing of DBS Checks seeks a Senior PHP Developer to join their close-knit team in Chigwell, Essex.

    As a PHP developer, you will work closely with a small team on projects ranging from anything from minor HTML/CSS changes to full-scale development of cloud-based dashboard suites.

    The main aim is to maintain, update and upgrade their website, cloud dashboard and CRM, be a lead on projects and support business growth.

    The team pride themselves on having a relaxed environment and culture, being accommodating to personal situations and travel troubles, building great relationships with all their staff, having an open-door policy, and working from a cosy countryside office.


    The PHP Developer will take responsibility for:

    Design and develop scalable and maintainable solutions using PHPWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented codeWork on a combination of projects/tasks, from minor HTML/CSS changes to full-scaledevelopment of cloud-based dashboard suites.

    Collaborate with the team to analyse and refine requirements and design solutionsTroubleshoot and debug issues as neededStay up-to-date with the latest developments in the PHP ecosystem and recommendimprovements as neededOversee the development work carried out by an existing external support team ofDevelopersLead on how projects are to be developed and deployed, including full testingproceduresAs PHP Developer, you'll have:5+ years of experience as a PHP developerStrong proficiency in JS, PHP, HTML, CSS, WordPress, MySQL, Code Ignitor, Laravel, CRON, API Ability to accurately work with large datasetsKnowledge of Ajax would be beneficialExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsCRM or e-commerce development if preferable, although not essential.
