Receptionist Position - Grange Central, Telford TF3
We are currently seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our team at Grange Central, Telford, TF3.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual who has a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar reception role and possesses a current DBS certificate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting and welcoming guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Directing visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls
- Ensuring reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material
- Receiving, sorting, and distributing daily mail/deliveries
- Maintaining office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
- Updating calendars and scheduling meetings
- Performing other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 14:00 (with a halfhour break)
Pay Rate:
- £13 per hour
Contract Type:
- Longterm temporary role
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role (minimum 5 years)
- Handson experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and timemanagement skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
- High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
- Must possess a valid DBS certificate
