Our luxury interiors client has been operating for over 100 years and continues to grow despite the challenging economic climate.
The key attributes and areas of focus will be in retail design, concept development and Visual Merchandising.
Objective
To support and influence the development, implementation, and maintenance of the industry leading brand image across all stores combining a creative flair with the commerciality needed to maximise sales through creating stunning store displays and deliveringa visual proposition that supports the store (and company) promotional activity.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensuring stores look their best, working with the Store Management teams and visual merchandisers to keep the stores at their highest standard and drive retail excellence.
- Project management and planning of store refurbishments and store openings. Working with the Directors, store and warehouse managers.
- Digital artwork and store
POS:
Preparation, briefing, checking and approval.
- Budget: responsible for build and maintenance of budget. Recording spend, flagging issues and finding savings/efficiencies with purchasing and suppliers.
- Present digital designs and prototypes to secure Board approval and progress projects at critical stages of development. Communicate project updates to the Board and local management team, manage expectations, receive, and deliver clear feedback.
- Guide and support our store teams with clear and concise communication.
- Liaise with Buying and Merchandising departments to obtain relevant information in order to compile and create VM guidelines.
- Compile and process relevant promotional / events briefs to enable stores to implement promotions in partnership with the Marketing team.
- Assist the marketing team with ordering and briefing promotional materials
- Carry out store visits to ensure effectiveness of VM / POS briefs and compile relevant feedback. See below for guidance on frequency.
- Implement and maintain clear system of controls to help stores maintain standards of VM.
Basic salary c£50-£55k plus discretionary bonuses and industry leading benefits and salary contributions.
With some remote working, the expectation will be to work predominately from the Head Offices in Southport with regular store visits around the UK.
