**About the role

  • Housekeeping Team Leader in Stoke Newington**As a Team Leader joining the housekeeping team you will be responsible for leading the shifts to deliver excellent standards for our residents, their family and fellow employees; as well as supporting the vibrant exciting teams in the daily operations.
Some of the key processes include but are not limited to:

  • Managing the housekeeping team in line with the care home needs and residents expectations
  • Work with other teams to maximise residents satisfaction
  • Mentoring and coaching to ensure maximum employee's engagement
  • Collaborate with HR roster Coordinator to manage resources
  • Demonstrate the evidence of managing team (Performance Management)
  • Stock control management and collaboration with maintenance team
  • Maintain relationship with the care home residents
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach to undertake different tasks
  • Observe COSHH and all relevant Health and Safety regulations concerning housekeeping tasks.
  • Be conversant with all Infection Control measures necessary in a Care Home and to participate in/carry out infection control audits.

Previous experience working in a similar role preferable but not essential
