The Edinburgh Practice is an award-winning private mental health clinic based in central Edinburgh.

We are a busy private practice and our team work closely together to deliver effective treatment and therapy to our clients.


Due to expansion and an exciting relocation this year, we are looking for a hard-working, enthusiastic and detail-orientated individual to join our expanding team as our Admin Supervisor.

It is a team effort, with the administrators at the core of operations. You will need experience of managing a team and extensive administrative experience. Previous experience in a medical setting would be an advantage.


The admin team are the main point of contact for our customers, and we are looking for an individual who is highly motivated and who offers a high level of customer service.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the daytoday supervision of the admin team.
  • Supervising and monitoring the workload of the team to ensure it is running efficiently, including workload allocation and monitoring training requirements.
  • Completing induction programmes for new starts.
  • To oversee customer service at The Edinburgh Practice and regularly review service user feedback, with regular feedback to staff and The Senior Management Team.
  • Supporting the Practice Manager with the smooth running of the practice.
  • Hands on administrative tasks.
  • Liaising regularly with practice clinicians to ensure that they have the necessary.
  • Invoicing and cash handling duties.
  • Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Welcoming clients into the practice in a professional manner.
  • Preparation of client letters, reports and case notes.

Essential Skills & Personal Qualities:


  • Confident in leading a team and supervisory experience (+1 year).
  • Extensive admin experience (+ 5 years).
  • High level standards of customer service.
  • Ability to keep calm and professional in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Positive attitude with great client focus.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
