Description

Undertake routine tests of complex X-ray equipment requiring precision measurements. Undertake routine tests of diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound equipment. Undertake routine tests on phototherapy equipment. Provide support to the patient dosimetry measurement service.

Communicate with clinical users to gain a clear understanding of the nature of problems with equipment and act on this information accordingly.

Liaise with clinical staff to plan quality assurance tests. Liaise with manufacturers engineers to obtain information and provide feedback on equipment.
