Our client based in County Durham have an exciting opportunity for a White Goods Technical Trainer to join their team on a permanent basis.

They are looking for a highly experienced Engineer or Manager to deliver high quality training.


Job description:


  • Assisting the Training Manager in the design and implementation of training plans, identifying needs and developing training solutions within the context of the company values for all new Trainees and Engineers.
  • Assisting the Training Manager in the design and implementation of training plans, identifying needs and developing training solutions within the context of the company values for all existing Engineers and Trainees.
  • Promoting a positive safety culture within the business.
  • Delivering inhouse training programmes, developing courses specific to services, and sourcing external training requirements to supplement inhouse training as required.
  • Maintaining and updating training and reference materials.
  • Building strong working relationships with key colleagues, working with them to identify training needs and implement solutions.
  • Identify emerging issues and needs that will determine future demand for training across the functions within the Field Service Operation.
  • Ensure health and safety processes are maintained.

Person Specification:


  • White Goods engineering experience.
  • UK Full driving licence.
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards a teaching qualification.
  • A strong desire and/or experience in developing and facilitating training courses and development solutions.
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing others in a complex, fast paced environment preferred.
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement, bring measurable results, improve efficiency and, where possible, save costs.
  • Excellent people skills, and used to dealing and building good rapport with various levels of management.
  • Excellent electrical safety knowledge.
  • Experience of managing own workload consistently and effectively.
  • A fresh, positive approach to training and development.
  • Excellent communication style and ability.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Computer literate ie: Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc

Hours of work:


  • 40 hours per week : Monday to Friday flexible

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
