Executive Assistant to Performance Director

The main purpose of this role is to provide a confidential and professional administrative/co-ordination support to the Performance Director.


What you'll be doing:


  • Having sole ownership of the Performance Director's diary and owner/reviewer of inbox, delegating where appropriate to leadership team, responding to verbal and written queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Proactively managing departmental initiatives, business correspondence, and prepare background documents and/or presentations for the Director
  • Supporting the Director in their projects through research, coordination, and analysis of data to prepare reports and documents
  • Taking ownership for tasks delegated by the Director/ Executive Manager Strategy Implementation including the management of projects outside of daytoday responsibilities e.g., cross functional projects with Conferences, Leadership and Management meetings
  • Coordinating and preparing board reports in advance of meetings, organising Partnership Engagement meetings and events, arranging travel and accommodation, including overseas and hospitality
  • Collating and circulating meeting agendas and papers and where required, attending meetings to record and coordinate actions, with subsequent follow up

We are looking for someone who has the following skills:

  • Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills; able to prioritise and manage a busy workload with a wide variety of tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong relationship building skills at all levels and ability to adapt communication style as required.
  • Comfortable working at pace with a wide range of tasks and deliver accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Proactive with the ability to work independently and unsupervised using own initiative, as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage a complex diary and to anticipate changes.
  • Confidential, tactful and able to exercise discretion, with a positive work ethic and willingness to be flexible and adaptable.
